SISTERS OF THE TIDE

UPLIFT Women's Skillshare is a celebration, a returning, an invitation for women to fully step into the age of collaboration and inter-connectedness. Tapping into the expansive energies of Spring in an intimate circle of sisterhood, we will gather for 3 days and 2 nights to share traditional & modern folks skills on a 30+ acre organic farm and historic homestead in the fertile valleys of Orcas Island, WA. Our time together will be shaped by ceremony and an ever-unfolding call to weave traditional knowledge with place-based intuition, to awaken our presence within the creative sanctuary of forest & field.

Our intention is to provide a retreat from the forces that pull us away from our deep knowing, and an opportunity to align with the slow way of moving in harmony that we have known in our bones for generations.

Erica will be co-facilitating the gathering and sharing morning tea ceremonies.

THE ART OF STILLNESS

THE ART OF STILLNESS is an invitation for women to align to a slower tempo and to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. We will gather for 3 days and 3 nights in intimate sisterhood at Doe Bay Resort along the tidelines of Orcas Island, WA. Our time together will be shaped by ceremony and an ever-unfolding invitation to love your self, to reflect inwardly, and to discover stillness.

We will explore the meditational arts of tea ceremony, inner voice work, traditional bookbinding, movement and more. We will practice awakening to the present moment. We will learn to listen so we may sing in-time to our innate rhythms. We will courageously embody the beauty of our authentic self so we may each step into our power as creator. LEARN MORE + REGISTER

OCEANIC LIBRARY / Join Erica on the Equinox for an inspiring oceanside art retreat. Students will learn to choose materials, consider ethics of material sourcing and will learn bookbinding basics such as creating text blocks, binding exposed spines, preparing and attaching covers. Students will create thematic content and apply scrimshaw treatment to the books with mixed media such as pen and ink, watercolor, typewriter, embroidery and calligraphy. Each student will create a personal oceanic library made of two to four small hand bound books.   LEARN MORE + REGISTER
