The Ancient Art of Bookbinding / Explore the ancient art of long-stitch bookbinding. With ceremony and intention, Erica Ekrem will hold space for you to step into your role as a maker. Each woman will stitch a leather journal from a prepared kit.

We will engage the breath to alleviate stress and access creative flow. We will imbue our work with intention and personal magic by exploring the powerful connection between heart and hands. We will quiet the mind by bringing awareness to the creative flow of breath and the focused movement of the hands. We will weave spines of colored thread and bring into being containers to hold all that we are and all that we are becoming.

Come to sit in your truth and share your story among sisters. Depart with a journal in your hands, and in your heart, the empowered ability to make another.

THE ART OF STILLNESS

THE ART OF STILLNESS is an invitation for women to align to a slower tempo and to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. We will gather for 3 days and 3 nights in intimate sisterhood at Doe Bay Resort along the tidelines of Orcas Island, WA. Our time together will be shaped by ceremony and an ever-unfolding invitation to love your self, to reflect inwardly, and to discover stillness.

We will explore the meditational arts of tea ceremony, inner voice work, traditional bookbinding, movement and more. We will practice awakening to the present moment. We will learn to listen so we may sing in-time to our innate rhythms. We will courageously embody the beauty of our authentic self so we may each step into our power as creator. LEARN MORE + REGISTER
